Smart CAN Module - SCM
The Smart CAN Module (SCM) acts as an additional node on the CANbus. Its main function is to accept signals from two analogue devices and convert them to J1939 data to be output to the CANbus. The unit can also be configured to drive two outputs direct from the CANbus, ideal for operating relays and tachometers.
The unit is supplied fully programmed to suit each individual application, ensuring quick and easy installation.
The SCM provides engineers with the flexibility and freedom to design electronic control systems for vehicle and industrial applications.
This extremely versatile module can be combined with the CANtrakTM display, digital keypads and other MegalinkTM modules to create a complete electronic control system in a wide variety of applications. Its rugged design is ideally suited to withstand extreme off-road.
