Ranging from light duty brake cables to Heavy Duty brake cables no application is too big or small for Hindle Controls as we pride ourselves on quick (While you wait!) turn around and 1-2 days batch requirements.
Throttle Cables
Throttle control cables can be manufactured in house at Hindle Controls, Bradford for your specific application. Hindle Controls can supply any type of throttle control cable ranging from light duty applications to heavy applications. We are able to supply throttle cables for, Go Karts, Trucks, Buses, Agricultural Machinery, Construction Vehicles, Handling Equipment and any vehicle/machine that requires a mechanical throttle cable. As we are approved by Kongsberg Automotive (Formerly Teleflex or Morse Controls) we can manufacture to your length requirement, this can be achieved by sending a sample to us or a technical drawing.
Stop Cables
Hindle Controls can manufacture Stop cables to any length as per your requirement. Stop Cables manufactured at Hindle Controls are ideal for a variety of control needs. All control cables feature corrosion resistant construction and non metallic liners for long life and easy operation. Typically used for Throttle, Fuel Shut Off, valves, latches, switches and engine choke Hindle Controls can manufacture for your custom requirement.
Transmission Cables
Transmission cables connect the Gear Shift Control to the connection kit on the gear box. Gear shift controls normally require a clamp type control cable and have a suitable connection kit for installation onto the gearbox. Typically a 43c control cable is used in this application. Where there is a longer run or the loads are very heavy then a 64c control cable is used.
Hydraulic Valve Control Cables
Hindle Controls can offer custom length remote valve control cables from complete with kits and operators. This cable is a vital link between remote control lever and hydraulic valve, such as a directional control spool valve. The cable allows you to operate your valve from different areas on the vehicle eliminating the need to move and change of hydraulic lines. The Valve control cable has been designed to interface directly with hydraulic valves and fits in the remote valve control with a single nut and retaining bolt, giving a well protected and sealed coupling.
Bowden Cable

Bowden cables are a type of flexible cable used to transmit mechanical force or energy by the movement of an inner cable (most commonly of steel or stainless steel) relative to a hollow outer cable housing. The housing is generally of composite construction, consisting of a helical steel wire, often lined with plastic, and with a plastic outer sheath. Bowden Cable is such a broad term it can apply to a number of different applications, ie; Clutch Cables, Throttle Cables, Brake Cable, Valve Control Cable, Handbrake Cable, Go Kart Cable, Bike Cable etc. A typical example of a bowden cable would be a bicycle brake cable.
Morse Cables
Morse Cables are one of the products Hindle Controls often get asked to supply. Having been a distributor for Kongsberg since they were known as Morse Controls, we are able to quickly and easily reproduce Morse cables as we have the old part numbers and drawings on file and the components in stock to manufacture these cables from scratch.

Cablecraft Control Cables are an American worldwide brand - similar in some ways to Bowden cable - but the company is still in existence.
Here at Hindle Controls we offer a fully interchangeable range of products from control levers to clevices, all manufactured to a very high standard by our fully quailfied engineers. Our Cablecraft equivalent cables are manufactured to withstand greater loading and great extremes of temperature for both plus and minus applications.
